Honoring Our Legacy
In Tribute to the Leaders And Founders Who Shaped Our Journey
In Memory of Charlotte Hrubes
Charlotte M Hrubes, age 84, passed away on March 13, 2025.
Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who found immense joy in spending time with her family. She always had a jigsaw puzzle going, with an invitation to join her for a cup of tea. She equally enjoyed getting lost in a book and in her garden.
She has been our director and guiding light of Joyful Again! for over 40 years.
Her faith was a cornerstone of her life which she leaned on for strength and guidance throughout her life’s journey. For over 40 years, she committed her talents to the Joyful Again! Ministries and its mission of serving widowed people move through bereavement toward spiritual and emotional wholeness.
Charlotte was always willing to listen, be a calming voice, be empathetic, and caring of everyone who needed a friend or shoulder.
It was her and Fr. Medard Laz’s vision, compassion, and drive to minister to the widows and widowers some 45 years ago to create Joyful Again!. Her tireless work as Director of Operations with the Joyful Again! Ministry has help countless widows and widowers move forward on their journey after losing their spouse.
May she Rest in Peace.
